Disclaimer: this game actually happened on a real, existing, themed TTS map, I’m not inventing the setting for comedy’s sake, we actually played a whole game for comedy’s sake.
The walls of this room in the submarine, made out of slick, ceramic-like material, were illuminated by a faint warm light, diffused artfully, so that it was impossible to determine the point of origin.
The room was part of the core structure, no windows or looking glasses, only an automatic door, a hidden one at that, separated it from the rest of the ship.
Nobody walking outside would be able to hear the faint music bouncing within its walls, very low volume, upbeat melodies, being eaten up by the insonorization layers and privacy screens lining the room.
I always wondered what friend-ship could be
In the center of the room was the origin of the music, a… structure… egg-like in shape, half organic, half robotic, exposed sinew and wiring dancing around black ceramic plates and stretches of pale skin. It would expand, with a whisper, as if inhaling, and then contract, pushing out air and electrical signals through a set of speakers
until you shared its magic with me
At the top of the structure, held in place by a crown of teeth-like hooks and linked to the thing via electrical wiring, glowing tubes and exposed blood vessels, was a Cube, still encrusted with clots of blood from its previous owner.
Slightly below the cube’s fleshy seat was a large, lidless, foggy eye, wide open, moistened by mechanical sprinklers on its sides. On it’s surface there were images, colorful flashes of light, that danced in tune with the low music
